Glenwood Cemetery

Historic Houston cemetery founded in 1871 on Washington Avenue above Buffalo Bayou, covering about 84 acres. Burial plots are available, and walking tours of the grounds are offered; private tours for groups of 10 or more must be booked at least 21 days ahead. The cemetery grounds are open 7 am to 5:30 pm, and the opening hours shown are for the office.nn
